I'll go to see Beckinsdale. Big guns, big shoes, little girl in latex -- it's like living anime'. :D I like the Vampire Masquerade-esqe feel to it.

There is a Half-Life game mod you can download on the official movie site. You can also read up on the history and characters -- which they've apparently put some work into.

That's enough to make any movie great :D

I think I'll try and head out to see it tomorrow, it looks like a mix of Blade and the Matrix to me so I think it'll make for a good time. It seems odd for a romance though, a vampire and a werewolf, can you imagine what kind of offspring would come of that?

Bah.. September 19th, and the movie is nowhere to be found around here :(
Since the movie is German and Hungarian as well as American (I think), it should have been released here around the same time as in the U.S.

I've just come back from watching this and whilst it was perfectly enjoyable watching for an hour and a half I have one bone in particular to pick with it - its similarity to the Matrix was just unbeleivable...

The thing is that most action films made after the Matrix have borrowed from it in a number of ways. However Underworld, for me, takes the cake. Innumerable shots, and even some full scenes, were pretty much just lifted straight from the Matrix and played out with different actors. My personal favorite was the square spiral staircase in a derelict house, shot from above with men in black running up it with guns... I mean come on!

Trust me, you'll know what I mean when you see it.

I was wondering if it is going to be good or not... I read some reviews online and they said that it wasn't that good. I'm going to see it anyway next week, but i'm hoping that I won't be too disappointed!

It does kind of stink that it repeats alot of the Matrix moves. I haven't seen a really good movie in a while.. I hope the visuals are as good as they look, and that the story isn't lacking too much. Sakuri

Better well stolen then badly invented ;)
So, aside from the Matrix moves, how is this movie?
