Im currently halfway Sojourn and its alot better then exile.
Im also pretty curious as to the party members he has in with him in Bg2, what book commes after Sojourn?

After Sojourn you'll nee to get started on the Icewind Dale Trilogy which starts with "The Crystal Shard". However, though Drizzt features heavily in this I don't think he's actually the main character but as this was the first book written with him in it is an essential read.

And after icewind dale?

Actually the IWD Trillogy was written before the Dark Elf trillogy, I read them in that order as I bought the books years ago when they came out. You will notice many inconsistacies when reading from the Dark Elf Trillogy to the IWD trillogy as Salvatore changed a few things in the Dark Elf series. This is explained in the front of the Dark Elf trillogy and I would recommend that you read the IWD series 1st.
The reason Drizzt doesn't seem to be the main character in the IWD series is because Drizzt was actually orginally developed as a sidekick for Wulfgar but Salvatore ended up turning him into the main character. Hope this clarifies a few issues people may have or notice.
