...until about level 5. Then they are about unstoppable. With an AC of 23 (thanks to Bodyblock Quickkilled) and armor that absorbs the first 5 points of damage, I can wade through crowds of enemies.

You have to remember that I took Sorceror AFTER I raised up levels. My Imp isn't that wimpy. He took on the Slaad's by himself. LOL. The panther is getting his hiney wined though. You get the animal companion at 6TH level. Not 1st. Sorry.

I've played as a Paladin and now as a Monk. Of the two, the Monk is FAR more powerful. Only problem I've had with my Monk is lack of hps (he's an elven monk with 14str 21dex 10con 16wis 10int 10cha) and only has about 100hps at the moment. But since his ac is 30, he's getting 3 attacks per round +1 for haste +1 for Flurry of Blows, he usually kills things before he can take much damage.

Plus Stunning Fist is just plain awesome, imho.

Ok, I finally had some time to try out some stuff and this is what I found. My imp does only have 3 hp. I was casting magic like crazy, so might have buffed him up somehow and not realized it (I do have a gazillion scrolls - LOL). I could only have 3 other characters at 1 time. I had the 2 familiars and a spell created one (whether this was via wand, scroll, or casting the spell myself [either as a Ranger or Sorceror as both have Monster Summoning].) The only way you can get more, I guess, is to choose another class that has a familiar/companion. But really, that kinda kills what I was doing things for. I guess I still have a lot of tweaking to do, but I'm gonna try out the Ranger/Thief/Sorceror combo for awhile and see how things go. I did cast Tenser's transformation and gained like 60 or 70 hps as well as tripling damage I could do. Not sure what other effects there were as I don't normally get to use Tenser's transformation. I'll have to say that it seems to live up to all those Sorcerors out there that say it is so cool. I had around 200 hp's where I normally only have around 130.
