actually the Icewind Dale trilogy was out first then Salvatore did a prequel with the Dark Elf trilogy then Legacy of the Drow and so on. Anyways, Forgotten Realms is the most populor fantasy world and they are hundreds of books of it. Elmister and Volo are also in a lot of Forgotten Realms novels. Myth Drannor, Neverwinter Nights and Icewind Dale are all parts of Faerun. O and Bruenor (the dwarf guy) forged the hammer for his friend Wulfgar, if thats what your talking about.

Giga Ettin, what do you mean used to love them? I don't care how advanced we get with the gaming experience; I'll always be able to go back to the first nintendo system. I still play the big fat clunky grey gameboy for goodness sake.
