Hey jc, are there any plans to expand the flirt pack? I was thinking maybe some non-serious flirting with other female NPCs. (not Imoen though, that's just gross )

That would leave Nalia and Mazzy.

Nalia, I'm taking care of with the upcoming de'Arnise Romance mod.

Mazzy, well, Mazzy has her good friend Valygar to keep her company. I don't know that she's the flirty type, but if someone wanted to do such a project, I'd be happy to explain how.

IMHO, Aerie suffers from the Anomen syndrome. They have long initial periods of whininess/arrogance, before getting support from the PC and questioning their attitude, before ending up as more self-confident/tolerant.

Neither are bad NPCs (may my tongue turn black for saying that about Anomen) if you have them in your party for a while, but the way she whines/he boasts from the start may put you off so early that you never see them through to their more rounded endgame personalities.

I keep all three of the lovely ladies, A,V,&J slap the "Horn Dog" patch on so my PC doesn't have to worry about picking :D

I haven't had much of a problem with Aerie, sure she's got low HP, but she's a magic user/cleric she's not a tank. She's got no business getting in a one on one scrap with anything anyway, She's support. Stands in the background chunking Magic missles, fireballs, Holy smite, Cloud kill etc. and healing.

Armour Va-Va-Vicky (Viconia) up give her the belt of fortitude, and the mauler's Arm mace and She can scrap with anything her little Drow Heart wants to.

Ja-Hotty armour her up and give her the staff of Rhym, and sit back and watch her wade through any battles.

It's usually my PC, Minsc and 4 bady dolls :D :D

Aerie is a joke. The best thing I ever did to her was to take her along to the Underdark and toss her away in Ust Natha after massacring all the Drow. I ripped the stuff off her and gave her a parting gift, the Bracers of Clumsiness and the Ring of Folly. I hope that she enjoys her new home. And besides the best romance option is Korgan...

Aerie , the scourge of the sword coast!! It is just too bad they didnt cut out her tounge when they cut off her wings. She is such a tremendous cry baby that she makes Xan from BG1 look like the happiest man on earth. Not to mention that she is just what the game didnt need, another half assed dual class mage. The only good thing I can say is that at least she isnt dualed to a thief like the rest of the crappy mages in the game.

I agree that Aerie should realize that she doesn't need to be so dependent on everybody, and that she can grow a spine of her own--or at least she shouldn't sound so helpless. Conversation options (especially in her romance) that allow you to encourage her to show some guts would be most welcome.

But anyone that thinks Aerie isn't a kickass character is wrong. WAY wrong. As is anyone who thinks that she's Dual-Classed when she's actually Multi-Classed. (Note: Nobody in the game is Dualed to Thief.)

Except Sarevok, if you have the time and a rather ... unique ... outlook on his potential

I think you're right about Aerie, she's not a front line tank, she's support artillary and medic corp rolled into one. I'll take her over Ed anytime, he can't heal squat. If you like to tote around healing potions and take up slots and money buying them, be my guest. Personnaly I never leave home without 3 healers, dead raisers. I like triple redundance :D
