Avatar i think the idea is great, but to add my 2 cents worth, i would say why not have your character stripped off all his powers and experience by sum villian so you have to start all over again and in the end you face the villian who has all of your old powers??

Great idea Avatar. I for one would definately play it.

That's a fun idea.

Suppose your character was a young Harper, apprenticed or otherwise attached to Gorion... determined to prove your worth to the organisation. You could

- Battle newly-awakened evils in the Sword Coast, uncovering the sinister and determined new Cult of Cyric
- Search out Zhentarim and their insane schemes as part of your apprenticeship
- Meet a young Khalid and Jahiera, perhaps even working with them - Against Baron Ployer's slave network, perhaps?
- Meet BG2 characters yet to rear their heads; the Harpers Galvarey and Dermin Courtierdale
- Tie up loose ends - like who was Rielev before you discovered his brain in a jar? How was Alianna, Gorion's friend and lover, seduced into worshipping Bhaal?

And, eventually, you'd be caught up in the battle between the Harpers and the Bhaalite priesthood, ending up with the guardianship of a young infant girl, and with a long, perilous journey to safety ahead of you - finally answering the question of how Imoen ended up in Candlekeep?

I second Tancred. *nods* you could also have it at the "epic end scene" of Gorion rescuing the Bhaalspawn from the temple?

Not mention slaying the Bhaalchild's mother... AND seeing Sarevok escape... hmm, thats a point, you'd have to fix it so the Bhaalspawn's race was the same as his mother... OR just a "cloaked" dark figure. sounds fun. I'll back that too.

It sounds like a good beginning, but this must be considered:

- What if one didn't romance Aerie?
- What if you aren't an Elf?
- What if you chose to become a God when ending ToB?

Here's another question Sir Exxon: What if you haven't completed ToB yet and didn't know that you would be making the decision of whether to become a God or not. SPOILER TAGS PLEASE!!! Thank you...

It's all a bit 'Baldur's Gate - Episode 1' really. And, heh, it was Link's idea...

Looks Great Avatar but lets consider the story line I mean you don't want to become like every other chronicle writer just regurgitating what past stories carried with ease. Maybe bring in a new race of people or possibly a new land with mysterious creatures never played with before. Other than that I am getting bored restarting my BG and IW chronicles over and over so Please Give us more!!
