Hardest fights for me
DT chess game. First i thought it was real chess, so my brother tried it and they swarmed on me. Then, we nuked em. I gave everyone fireball or flaming oil potions, or spells or wand, casted it at the same time, they dropped like flies. Doomsayer Fight Assassins in the Undercellar All of durlags tower. Imoen could dissarm any frikin trap. So i used tons of potions of perception. Firewine ruins is a pisser Yes, the top level of balduran's ship was REALLY rough. |
That bloody chicken Mellicamp. You take him all the way highhedge to get him changed back, you then have to go back out to fetch a skull. Once Thalantyr has the skull he starts his transformation spell and what happens the bleeding chicken exploads. You reaload your game knowing that this is random and that he doesn't always expload, and what happens? HE BLOODY WELL EXPLOADS AGAIN. And Again, and again, and again, and again. 2431 reloads later he finally changes back, and what do you get for your effort A FEW FRIGGING MEASLY Experience points. Now that is a frustrating quest.

frustrating? I don't know... I don't do a lot of quests, really. I guess the time of day sensative ones like the thief guild jobs. You have to be around at a certain place at a certain time. I always find it difficult to be in the right place at the right time in that city. The movement from area to area is also rather odd. You seem to "beam" over to really strange positions relative to where your start position was when traveling between city areas.
I think the most rewarding one is the Marl encounter at Feldpost's Inn. With a not so patient party, you can knock him out with fists every time you enter the inn. It's one of my favourite things in the first half of the game- to enter Feldpost's and have Marl go at you and knock him on the floor. Sometimes, I have my party wait there till he gets up again. Sure, you don't get the XP that way, but who cares? It's way more fun having a hostile Marl all the time. The same goes for Noober, too! He doesn't bother you anymore after that, and, in fact, runs from you all the while going, "heya." It's really quite amusing! |
