I used the combo of MR + LR in one go against the shadow dragon.
Reduced the poor thing to 1% MR |
Ah-ha! Aragorn1's explained it! Thanks for clearing it up. It would seem that Baldurdash does fix up this exploit which must be where I'm getting a bit fuzzy on what turns what hostile.

I remember my first dragon kill. didn't know about the ecploit an used the wand ofcloudkill several times. My party was spread out round the edges waiting for him to come, and I didn;t dare more as I thought he was moving around looking for me!

You can trust me to be cheesy. I killed a lich with %100 magic resistance mustard jelly (polymorph-self). I havent been to graveyard yet or fought a dragon so most of this is jibberish.
Basic things are: Pause game and make every unit use a buff spell of some sort even if it will be almost useless.(remember to check special abilities section as characters still have spells in there). Summons and more summons. All .....erm.... whats the word... reverse buff thingmawuts. Like Doom, Breach, Malison. All dat stuff. Then just use whatever you got left. Are Dragons immune to certain spells? |
I think this particular dragon has low magic resistance ( maybe 40%? ).
I usually just use a ton of holy smites + magic missle while distracting him with my main fighter ( who has all the buffs I can throw + potions of regeneration and such ). No need for cheese here, save your cheese for things like the demogorgon ( if you have TOB ). |
