Seriously, though, this confirms that I have a bug. I plan to sell both sanchuudokus (and any subsequent ones I might acquire) to raise money to restore my reputation after the destruction which the fight caused. It's easier than trying to get rid of the bug and I certainly feel like I deserve the experience after killing him a second time.

<font color=plum>I used Celestial Fury to lure Kuriosan to my assassin's party after defeating the Guarded Compound - only to learn that my party was just no match for him at that time. After several tries, I finally cheated and just used "CNTRL Y" on him. I got all his stuff (including ALL of his "Protection from Magic Weapons" scrolls) and the Sanchu sword. Then, a bit later in the game, Kuriosan spawned again. I was able to beat him legitimately this time and get a second Sanchu sword - but I doubt he will be showing up anymore.
But apparantly he does spawn again if you use "CNTRL Y" on him (just some FYI for all you <font color=yellow>cheese lovers</font> out there). :D </font> |
