What I am asking is if: Say, an enemy is immune to magical damage. Finger of Death does magical damage. Therefore, will the death effect be negated along with the magical damage, or will the victim still have to save in order to survive? |

If the target makes their saving throw, then it attempts to do magical damage to them. If the target also has magicl damage resistance, then it's possible that they won't take any damage either. |
best spell...animate dead...and improved haste or haste the skeleton warrior...
|
Skeletons from AD only have +1 swords though, correct? Therefore they couldn't possibly do damage to the Adamantite Golem because they can't hit it.
|
Damage as +1, hit as +3, IIRC.

Skeleton Warriors that occur as Random Spawns are equipped with 2-Handed Swords+1, which they drop.
Skeleton Warriors that are summoned via Animate Dead, however (yours or the enemy's), wield 2-Handed Swords+3, and drop no loot. |
Oh.
Serves me right for contradicting someone more knowledgeable than I. |
