Can a female be a paladin???

I think anayway that the best class to start with is a fighter, then once finished Baldur's, you can try starting with an other tipe of character.

The first time I played I didn't know about "level up" (My uncle, who played BG told me about it), and I played almost till the end of the game without levelling up; as soon as I leveled up I felt so powerful that finishing the game got very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very easy!!!!

just wanted to make my point, which is: the monk is an insanely powerful class!
I'm in the early part of TOB, and my monk (who's now at level 22) is so powerful he can take on most foes single-handed. I only need to have my mages cast breach and spell strike on enemy mages to drop their defenses so my monk can pound them.

Am I misreading your post, or did you say you played almost the whole game at the starting level? Yeah, I guess the game would seem pretty easy after jumping from say, level 15 to level 35 with one click of a button!

Yes... I tried level up the first time, when I entered Baldur's Gate city!!!!

It gave me some thing like 17 weapon points to add each NPc!!!!!

Before I even had to find some other tactics (besides killing) to pass a spot...
for example... the guards at Douglas tower (I don't know if I spell it right):
I wasn't able to kill them, and so I simply blocked them with "entangle" priest spell and passed by!!!
