Tassadar is roleplaying a Kensai that never wants to use any weapon but Katanas, Wakizashi, or Ninja-to--all other weapons are abhorrent to him. He therefore doesn't want to use such weapons as the Flail of the Ages or Frostreaver. (Technically, though, he should be perfectly willing to use Daggers, as the tanto was quite common.)

CF can be CCrom Fayer too.
So that is why we use CFruy and CFayer

Surely, as the Japanese were among the first cultures to use the recurved bow (after the egyptians), and Yoshimo hisself is more than willing to unleash acid/fiery death from afar, my comment on the use of bows is valid?

Kensai cannot use Bows. (Or Crossbows, or Slings, or Darts.)

But than can use throwing weapons(Azuredge comes to mind) with their bonuses they can do some serious damage.

...ah I see your point TaSSaDar - I know FoA was pretty obvious, I just didn't realize how strict you were going to play it... I'm sure you'll get CF eventually somehow, then you're in business ;) - that's a cool RP; seems to make acquiring CF all the more of a triumph

I am somehow afraid of acquiring CF. I fear the mighty Kuroisan who is rumored to hunt after rare enchanted katanas. Somehow I managed to notice a follower in the crowd, and I know I am being watched by him or his agents. I think he will not risk obtaining the katana himself, but try to assault me when I get the blade.

Creepy....

The point is - I don't care how powerful the weapon is (now I wield 2 +1 katanas, although I could buy Blade Of Roses +3, FrostReaver BattleAxe +?, whatever) . I was thinking of soloing a quarterstaff kensai [img]smile.gif[/img] . I am stick to katanas. I just have a Sword Of Flame in my quick qeap. slot to switch to it and finish off trolls, but only when they are lying. And I definitely feel the anger of my gods when I touch the sword... They make my hand less accurate.

Need to slay Clay Golems frightens me even more - I WILL have to use one Warhammer. Oh Gods, WHY?

Azuredge is crafted by an another do-goodie, and it burns the hand of have-no-moral-man such as me. After all it is an axe, a peasant weapon. Let dwarves swing axes, there and back again to no obvious success, my hits are accurate, fast and deadly due to the sharpness of the blade, not its weight.

Frostreaver is a +3 weapon...

Any ideas how to slay Clay Golems without using THAT +4 vs. something Warhammer or even staying within the broders I laid for myself?
