I actually felt kinda bad for a while there since it seemed to me like players who were romancing Kelsey might feel jealous that Imoen was having so much fun, but based on the feedback I've received, things in TOB like the expanded flirting and the "confessional lovetalk" more than made up any "cuteness" gap that might have been created.
