all that will help him pass, but you also need a decently high reputation as well, 12 or so should be enough to pass

Cannibal Monkey 04-28-2003 11:12 AM

Good

That means he will easily pass.

Go me, woo!

Danka scones, alles.

[hijack] Won't Jaheira and Aerie eventually go for each other's throats as well? [hijack]

Yep, but only verbally. Eventually, you have to side with one or the other, and this ends the romance with the one you didn't side with (unless you mod your game to have all romances).

i know its old dead post and no one will read this, but ... cernd in greater werewolf is a badass, i just give him amulet of power and have him take out any vampires or other level drainers , and hes the obnly healer i use too, just dont need that much healing when all six of your party are smacking the monsters too fast for them to damage you.

Absolutely true, couldn't agree more, I use Aerie in almost every one of my games, she rocks

True, she can't Tank like he can, but half a Cleric is really all you should need.
I disagree here, give Aerie a strength increasing item (Crom, Girdle of X Giant strength ect...) and with her spells (stoneskin/mirror image ect..) she becomes an unstoppable tank, even if she does get hit, her spells will save her. Just remember to run if that stoneskin wears off.

Using Aerie as a tank is like using a golf club to whack a baseball. Sureeee... it works, but Aerie operates much better as a backline spellcaster.

If a player is using Aerie to tank, it can only mean a few things... ...

1) You're screwed. All your real tanks are dead.

2) You got bored and wanted to smush a few kobolds.

White Lancer 05-21-2003 01:08 AM

lol, true, i only really use her to tank when my other tanks are dead, or im bored But i do use her to take out golems, some of them (i think it's clay) are immune to certain weapons... i can't remember exactly what it is, but Aerie is the only one with any proficiency in flails/morning stars, and he FoA is the only weapon i have which can hurt them. Plus, its fun

ADD] And there are times when you fight things that are just too weak to use spells on, and you don't want to use all your bullets +2 on them either, so just pull out the FoA and wade on in. BTW, im currently using a party that consists of:
</font>
 • Me - Undead Hunter - using Lilarcor/long bows</font>
 • Minsc - using Sarevok's Sword of Chaos +2 (From Chateau Irenicus) and long bows</font>
 • Jan - using his crossbow</font>
 • Aerie - Sling +2 and FoA+3</font>

3) You're fighting something nasty and you're relying on Aerie's wide battery of defensive spells to keep the thing busy while your real warriors (those who possess low THAC0 and high ApR, which Aerie does not) are applying some hurt.
