We, and the others, mustn't forget that not all of the levels need be 15x15. Perhaps your garden level is 15x15 and your others are 10x10. :)

I think I will need a lot of new portraits/sprites/NPC Walls. :D But, I'm not going to do anything as complicated as walkable battlements, though I do plan to have windows that can be looked through. :)

Tja... What would Bruce Willis do with a window?

I will make all levels the same size (although of course, not the complete area will be used then), because it is easier to keep track of the transfer modules this way...

Bruce Willis? I must have missed the reference. :)

I will also make all of my levels the same size, for the same reason. :D

I think I need to make more walls...

Well, in Die Hard, for example, Mr Willis "uses the window with a machine gun", so to speak (write). I was just thinking about what windows in DC may be used for... :D

OK, now I understand. :)

Windows in DC are used to show many things, like perhaps a hidden garden, or perhaps someone looking back at you. ;)

A mirror that really reflects the party would be cool. Depending on one's wishes, it could either be done with Sprite pics, or with different walls and logic blocks.

I have more or less built 5 levels and set up a secret passage (logic blocks en masse :D, although it is still relatively simple compared to some riddles in classic games like LoL, DM or EoB).
Now, I need to draw the NPCs and some special monsters... I hope it is okay that I use simplefied event-based combats, and not the default combat system.

Wow! It sounds like you've got a lot done already. :)

I have one level with the outlines of buildings...but I did finish my 2-story wall last night. :)

A mirror would be interesting but a lot of work, unless it wre integral to the story.

Ooh, a story - I should get one of those for my contest entry. ;)

I did not sleep very long last night... :D I should add that I still have to place the furniture and so on. And, I fear, the most complicated thing will be the "secret passage tutorial"...

Well, where do you get them from?

I'm not looking forward to making furniture. If it fits DC perspective, it doesn't match my portraits, and if it matches my portraits, it doesn't fit DC perspective.

They come from the magical land of "Idunno". :) Somewhere in the deep and dark recesses of my soul is a little daemon that spits them out, but I am not his master, merely a humble messenger. This is a question I could spend the rest of my life trying to answer (and probably will). I will have a better chance of answering once I have the idea. :D:D:D

Hmmm... Looks like you guys are busy working! :D (Methinks some nice example mods would be useful here...)
