This is true! (I have always been against the idea of "the other mermaids," though (fish head/torso, lady legs)... Not my cup of tea :) )

...and some more portraits for today:

1. Gnoll - new!
2. Dryad - actually a fix of something I had rejected and never put up (well, I did accidentally put it up once, so you may have seen it...)
3. Mermaid - fixed her hair. :) (Basically, I decided I liked her so much that she deserved proper hair :D )

Woa! That gnoll is excellent.

I must say, I would prefer more whale-like mermaids. I know that is not very mythological thought and might not fit with ADD, but anyway...

I'm in no way wishing for a fish top mermaid. :) I was just thinking that perhaps the bottom half could be liek a shark (for example)

I can't wait to get home from school and check out the small pics. :D:D:D

I do think whale-like is a good idea. :) I have always drawn the tail fin parallel to the mermaid's body (not perpendicular like fish).

Slightly tweaked the gnoll :D (forgot to shade some hair).

As for mermaid versions, I suppose there could be ugly ones like mermaids with sea angler bottoms or something ;) (But yeah, fish top mermaids suck!)
