OOC: Oh, I wouldn't worry. I've been gone for a couple of days myself.

IC: Tancred does a comic double-take, a gawp AND a raised eyebrow upon seeing Mel reveal the whip. Slowly, he turns his face to an invisible audience.
"THAT," he says to the imaginary onlookers, "I did not expect."
The thing begins to force it's way through. It has horns - never a good sign.

Horns? Slaughter loves horned targets. They usually bigger and more choppy!!!!

The great horned,tentacled thing pulls through the rift. Tentacles grab the Anti-paladin and Tancred, pulling them to its gaping maw

OOC: So, I guess I edit my previous post? Hmm.
IC: Rhazor takes the shape of his natural form.. He is bleeding everywhere, and seems almost unreckognizable. The shattered figure, stands up, and pulls out his Moonblade. He leans against it for a minute. Then he hurtles himself into the rift. A trail of blood follows from where he was to where he went. That is all that remains of what was Rhazor..

"HEEELP!" Tancred chops at the claw with his sword, to little effect. "HELP! It's got REALLY big TEETH!"
In desperation, seeing the evil-looking teeth come closer and closer, Tancred drops his sword and begins a frantic appeal to his patron god, mouthing the syllables of Bolt of Glory as quickly as he can.

OOC: D'oh! Sorry, Nanobyte, got a bit confused there. But, hey, I never said you were dead - and werewolves regenerate, right?

Melusine twirls the end of her whip around the tentacle that's threatening Tancred. The little barbs hook fast and she tries to pull....but the creature is stronger! I could use a little help here! Rhazor follows Delphie's path, until he reaches another rift opening. Rhazor jumps through seconds before it closes. When he stands up, he notices that all his wounds have healed. He hears someone mumbling in the next room. He leans over to see the young (what is she? Wizard?) pacing the room. She seems to be talking to herself about some staff. Rhazor hides in the shadows, and makes his way towards her.

Hanging on to Meluise's rear, Jabidas is mildly surprised no one has gone for it yet. Time for a wedgie of his own perhaps, but no the holy guy needs help. Before going forward to get hold, ahem, jabidas gets rid of the spell affecting his hands and focuses again, he pulls at his inner energies and summons a Skeleton warrior to watch his back.

When the Tancred is pulled back he steps into the shadows again and begins to chant powerwords of deaths at his enemies. Many of them just drop to the ground stoping living like falling asleep.

The tentacle pulls and pulls, but the barbs in the whip dig deeper and deeper the more it tries. Eventually, it lets the Paladin go, twitching spasmodically. Tancred grabs his sword upon landing and, pausing only for a quick but grateful thumbsup to Mel and Jab, starts running towards the antipaladin and yelling out the final syllables of Bolt of Glory. His target? The rift.

OOC: Well,he looked like a normal werewolf...

Ash leaps forward,striking with Carsomyr and severing the tentacle that is pulling Tancred to his doom. With a startled sqwawk Melusine and Jabidas fall backwards dragging Tancred across the floor. The Undead Hunter casts Holy smite against whatever is trying to emerge from the portal.

OOC:So, is Celestial Fury really broken? Is getting that re-forged going to be our next quest?

OOC: It can be. Since it's a Faerun weapon, I will wait until the bar's back on Faerun for that

Slaughter Margin bellows with a roar that would make a Balrog s**t its pants (I found Balor-killing very easy when playing Slaughter Margin). He cannons into the beast and slams Blackrazor up to its hilt in the things head. Slaughter is a Berserker and he's gone into one NOW!!

The shocked and injured demon drops the paladin and anti-paladin, then locks its death gaze on Jabidas while conjuring a flaming aura to burn its attackers (like Slaughter will care with all his anti-fire adds http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif)
