The flaming creature responds to Malvolio:
"DEPENDS! ARE YOU DEAD AND IN PAIN? IF NOT, THEN NOOOO!!!"

It then summons a writhing humanoid. This humanoid just happens to resemble Irenicus. "STOP WRIGGLING HUMAN" says the creature (hey, not all Old Ones have to be kindly) and tears open Jon's chest, pulling out the internal organs. It then munches on them. It seals up Irenicus and starts regenerating him. Then, it disappears in a noiseless explosion that, if not for Lord Shield's presence, would have atomised everybody

Glad that foul spelling creature is gone now Angel can get back trying to Memnoch attention.
