A good point,. but we are also "open" to returning to the surface and leaving the fate of the forums in the hands of the winds, it doesn't mean it's a wise decision, or even one that will get us closer to the groups goal. As sad as it is, our productive choices (I don't count randomly wandering down side passages until we see something as productive) are to go to the drow settlement, ie the last place we know of the giants visiting in person, or finding Euryale (we can speculate a connection, of course assuming that the previous threads have been revealed to us in cousel with each other, since the dragon had the markings of "giant fists" punching through her scales, and the grimlocks were found there feasting on her corpse by the time we got there. Granted they may have just "happened along" after the fact and started feasting.

The connection may be non-existant, but as tenuous as it is it's the best connection and most recent source of activity that we have to go on at the moment.

I was only worried that I may provoke an action from the team that they would not have made if I had not seemed to "steer" us all in a certain direction. I have not been able to find the right words to let you all know that me "Larry" the real person was not trying to persuade anybody to do anything contradictory to what "Dantes" was wanting to do, and that the whole team should be listening to "him" and not "me" or "Brendon".

Is is now more clear what I have been trying to say? I was not trying to invent a reason to make the party do what I wanted, and I want the party to do as they feel right...not what "Larry" feels right. That is all.
