Why do I have to actually do my job?

Don't you get paid to do it?

Re: Has there been a question thread before?

Is that what they pay me for? Or is it so that I can make people think about why they had to ask me the question that brought them to see me to start with?

Why don't you ask the people who emplyed you? Surely they'll know, won't they?

Why do you think I haven't tried that approach already?

Are you as lazy as me?

Did we work out how lazy you are? Isn't that a prerequisite for any definitive answer to your question?

In any case, I think he's bucking for that 2000th post, don't you?

4000th, get that new prescription filled! ;)

Is anyone other than Variol or I looking forward to the 4000th post?

Didn't you realize that I was talking about the 2000th post in the thread, the honors of which went to DS?

And DS, one of the key attributes for effective salespeople is to constantly ask questions. The act of turning a statement into a question is a key tool in the salesperson's toolbox, don't you think?

And Variol, will you be man enough to post a question for your 4000th post, or will you slide along, replete in your ignominy?

Hmmmm... has anyone else managed to slip "ignominy" into a conversation today? And like me, did you think it was really "ignominity"?
