Ok, as promised! Here are a few from the wedding and the honeymoon. We went to the Poconos (a resort called Cove Haven) for our honeymoon. The suite had a 7ft champagne glass whirlpool tub, private heart shaped pool, sauna and massage table and a fireplace in the living room area. It was FANTASTIC! Nacht and I kinda hated to leave the place... LOL!

We took in a comedy act at the club one night (we won't mention that Cloudy and her hubby imbibed several very deceptively fruity drinks full of alcohol and tottered out to the shuttle... ;) ), took a horse and carriage ride, played mini-golf, pool and several other games and basically just enjoyed ourselves immensely!

PICTURES ARE HERE!

Stormymystic 05-24-2004 10:30 AM

I think it might be time for me to take a second honeymonny ;) that place looked so beautiful! you guys had a great honeymoon hope you guys had a fun time. have a great life cloudy and natch

Cloudbringer 05-24-2004 11:04 AM

:D It is a very lovely place. There are four related resorts in the area and three of them cater to couples only while the fourth is for families with children as well as couples. Cove Haven was a couples only resort, so they had lots of things for couples to do together, like the table for two to play Ms. Pacman in the cafe.

I know I am a little late here, but congratulations Cloudy! I hope it was a beautiful ceremony. How's Nacht btw? I hope you haven't tired him out entirely after his recovery from pneumonia. ;)

Again, congratulations to both of you!

Hehe Not entirely...but we did buy a new bed yesterday.... LOL, how's that for an open ended line? ;) :D Thanks, Willow! It's so weird, but a few days after the wedding it felt like weeks had passed, but now that it's almost two weeks from the day, it feels like it was only yesterday. Still got alot of paperwork to do to change my name...ugh...but we're working on things!

Don't know if I mentioned it but Nacht made a special dedication to me at the reception (totally blew me away!). He took the mic and told me how much it meant to him that I was taking his name and then they played the Dierks Bentley song "My last name" and I ended up crying...so did the waitstaff and half the guests...it was so incredibly romantic and sweet...sigh...

They do have fishing there, Mega, but we didn't go out. LOL Maybe if we vacation there again. Somehow it didn't work out while honeymooning! :D The Poconos mountains are quite beautiful! There were deer wandering around the area all the time and mountains are beautiful at sunset!

Leonis 05-28-2004 12:17 AM

As a belated present, I'm leaving that line completely alone... untouched... virginal, as it were. ;)

But oh, the possibilities.... :D

Enjoy it, wouldja?

</font>
;) You're too kind, dear! LOL! Well I COULD have pointed out that my old one was worn out... but uh.... that would have been WAY too easy! ;) :D

Bungleau 05-28-2004 11:52 AM

Worn out... easy... too easy... I'd better get out of here now... :D

Ermmmm... enjoy your new purchase... or something like that

Sorry...I shouldn't dangle carrots like that, should I? :D *giggle* Well, the delivery guys called to say it's coming between 8 and noon tomorrow, so we'll have it to ...ahem...try out... then. ;)

Bungleau 05-28-2004 03:12 PM

Somehow, I don't think it's possible to discuss the purchase of a new bed without opening the door to all sorts of these "discussions". Even your last reply...

WillowIX 05-28-2004 03:29 PM

Aww just watched the photos! Brought a tear or 50 to my eyes. I wish Stephen had sung a song for me on our wedding. Maybe I can get him to do so now, LOL.

A new bed? *cough*

Btw, will you now call yourself Cloudtrafe or Nachtbringer?

Cloudbringer 05-28-2004 03:58 PM

LOL, ok, Bungleau, you'll just have to avoid the bed posts... LOL or put your chewing gum on them at night... dang, that's showing my age isn't it? I only remember the line 'does your chewing gum lose it's flavor on the bedpost overnight?' anyone know what that's from?

Willow! LOL! Glad you like the pics. Nacht didn't actually sing, but he told me what it meant for him and then the dj played the song he chose to explain it... it was very touching. But if you can get your hubby to sing, send us a tape! Err...yup, a new bed! :D

Stormymystic 05-28-2004 04:15 PM

that is so sweet, Wade had the choir leader sing "I swear" at our wedding

Cloudbringer 06-07-2004 09:27 AM

I almost missed this...Stormy, that's very sweet too! Did you know he was going to have that sung or was it a surprise?

I was totally floored at the reception when Jim took the microphone to make the dedication and tell me how he felt. He had half the serving staff in tears, it was so romantic... sigh...

Stormymystic 06-07-2004 09:51 AM

it was a surprise to me, I was in the back getting ready when he asked it to be done :D
