Cloudbringer 09-27-2003 11:45 PM

Zuvio, that's wonderful! And so very sweet! I'm happy for you! She sounds like a very nice girl and a bit shy...awww!

Victor von Steiner 09-28-2003 03:31 AM

"I will strive to present myself responsibly to the parents!"
* Zuvio:"Yo ME-Agent! Can I borrow that nice life-sized bulletproof shield and vest you're wearing?!" *

I think I'll postpone that meeting just a little bit longer: I'm still in the rush of butterflies everywhere !! :D

Heh, she's not quite shy, just a little different ;)

Boy, I didn't get to see her this weekend. Pretty much a bummer. Maybe I should get her phone number ASAP :D

Well anyway, tomorrow will be the day we meet again. I'm getting kinda nervous already. I always get this way at the start of a new relationship. Too many uncertainties. Offcourse, those are what make it interesting in the first place, although I prefer a certain degree of certainty you see ( * Zuvio is on a Rhyming Spree :D * ). I mean, enjoying being in love can never be 100% when it is one of the most things subject to immediate change. Next day, it could be over... But i'm not gonna think about that, Im gonna go back to bed and sleep till tomorrow ;)

Firestormalpha 09-28-2003 10:16 AM

LOL. That was great Kaltia.

Cloudbringer 09-28-2003 10:59 AM

Best of luck, Zuvio! And yes, silly, get her phone number! :D

You're right though, you shouldn't dwell too much on things and make them super important in your mind now... just enjoy her company and see how things go! Otherwise you might mess up your relationship from over worrying and getting ahead of yourself!

Hey all! I had a fantastic time with friends at a garlic festival this weekend and other than sore joints and muscles from all the walking, it was a great way to spend a day! Lots of food, crafts and demonstrations and lectures on how to grow, cook, eat and store garlic.

G'day all. Been a few days. Hockey tryouts, y'know. Had to get up at 8:00 for two days in a row...on weekends. Just sticking my head in. And congrats, Zuv!

I have 12 hours to live.
I think I could be in a bit of a stick tommorow.

I take it this is not serious?

Dragonshadow 09-28-2003 03:23 PM

Oh yeah, I would REALLY spend my last 12 hours here!
Joking, it's not really serious.

Link 09-28-2003 03:26 PM

I would probably spend my last 12 hours doing something useful (if I still can). Spending time with loved ones, you know.. all the mushy things.

On the other hand I may be wanting to spend my last 12 hours alone, to think about how I lived and how my life has been in reflection to others. Deep huh ;)

Dragonshadow 09-28-2003 03:28 PM

I'd go and spend time with my family, then do something which I'd regret later, but never will as I won't be around later.

Zuvio 09-28-2003 04:07 PM

Well sorry, but if I knew I would only have 12 hours left to live, I would go completely over the top. Besides, when you think about it, *knowing* you have 12 hours left to live will for certain drive you completely insane! I mean, with two hours left on the clock you know the lights will go out pretty soon, you think your will is powerful enough to keep you sane?! I don't think so. Most people would probably end their lives waaay before the 12 hours expired.

Oh! I just saw Teletubbies on a re-run! Tinky-Winky saw a beau-ti-ful flower!

And now back to the happy people! :D

<-- Why on earth I ever though that was funny?!?!

LoL Link! I used the teletubs as a means to turn this rather depressing series of posts into something more positive!! :D

You actually thought the teletubs were aired at 22:00 in the evening?! Heh ;)

Link 09-28-2003 05:25 PM

It wouldn't surprise me if they would. Isn't there something like a 'stupid kids series channel? Oh hang on! That's Nickelodeon!

And I knew what you were trying to say I'm 19 you know ;) I know Irony when I see it

Kakero 09-28-2003 07:30 PM

Mack_Attack 09-28-2003 08:02 PM

My Daughter loves the teletubbies I am trying to get her away from them. I personaly beleive they are worthless and need to be off the air.

Victor von Steiner 09-29-2003 02:00 AM

Yes it has been a long time. I have been busy with 3 online Star Wars sims plus helping out with creating a 4th Star Wars sim. And of course busy over at Myth Drannor. Of course I wish you had time to visit there.

Dragonshadow 09-29-2003 08:32 AM

Teletubbies suck.
And it's official: I have an attitude problem! Yay for me!

cloud ff7 38 09-29-2003 10:02 AM

atitudes are overrated.....so is spelling

Dragonshadow 09-29-2003 10:33 AM

Spelling? Eh?

But grammar is an absolute must. :D

Good morning all. I'm still trying to figure out how I managed to sleep for 9 hours straight. I once slept 12, but I was under the influence of nyquil at the time.

Kaltia 09-29-2003 12:16 PM

*Is reminded one girl who uploaded her story on a public site and when told her grammar and spelling were non-existant, responded with:

*UM, HELLO!!!!!! THIS IS THE 21ST CENTURY! NO1 CARES ABOUT GRAMMA AND SPEELING!"*

Needless to say, the critics laughed

LMAO! You'll have to give me the link Kat, it looks too funny not to read.

Kaltia 09-29-2003 12:34 PM

Then there was the one who said....

"ONLY GAYS CARE ABOUT F*KIN GRAMMER AN S**T!"

...we laughed again.

Not our fault you can't spell Kat, remain an illiterate drow prietess if you want then :D

Kaltia 09-29-2003 01:15 PM

I'll be quite happy to remain an illiterate if it means not hearing you sing :D

The original phrase, in picture form. Swear words!

Cloudbringer 09-29-2003 02:18 PM

Bah, my connection is slow today, anyone else having that problem?

Anyone out there ever put together a wedding? How do you set up the reception in terms of timing what happens when? I'm going to be talking to dj's to find out how they do things and get an idea which one to hire but I'd love some advice from someone who's been through it! :D

Mack_Attack 09-29-2003 02:26 PM

Well cloudy there is no book on how to do anything like a wedding. You really just need to fit your style. When me and the wife were married we did it the normal way as per say. We were married around 3:00 and then did the pictures afterwards and then at about 6:00 we went and had our dinner and then afterwards it is time to get down and boogey. I had a very small wedding just for family and real close personal friends so maybe 25 people were there. That just fit are style. With a small wedding you can real pay close attention to the small details like the table arrangments and little gifts and stuff. you can get nice stuff because you not spending a billion dollars on food and booze if there is going to be any.

I also just had a friend get married last week and he did it a little different he had time before the weeding to meet the bride and groom and then had there dinner and had a late wedding. Like at 7:00. I would never do it that way but it was different and woked out well.

Don't forget Kat, there's a difference between hearing about my singing and actually hearing it ;)

Kaltia 09-29-2003 04:38 PM

Yes, the difference is usually 16 miles in a jeep :D
