Good evening everybody!

Attalus 04-28-2003 06:20 PM

Willow, it's called being in a solo practice. Our hospital is small, and I don't trust my patients to anybody else. Antryg, DES stands for DiEthyl Stilbesterol. It's a hormone alternate. RevRuby, congratulations. Galadria says to tell you, better you than her.

(Looks around the completely empty café)
Err...Hello anybody here?

Stratos 04-28-2003 06:28 PM

ROFLMAO!!! Johnny, that's cruel.

Timber Loftis 04-28-2003 07:26 PM

Gimme some of that beer. Pass it through the screen and I'll hide it under my desk here at work. Monica can hold it for me. ;)

LOL.

Oh well, I ordered dinner just now. At least when you work late at my firm, you get to order dinner - no questions asked. So long as you have a billing number. Everything needs a billing number. I'm not allowed to breathe without a billing number.

We have a new bi-monthly (rather than monthly) time reporting draconian policy starting this May. While partners get fined $250 for submitting late timesheets, we pee-ons just get bad marks on our end-of-year reviews (for which we live). Apparently, my firm loses $12 million a year (or was it a month ) due to lost time in billing, and they are cracking down.

Geez, Timber, if I was losing that kind of bread, I'd crack down, too. But, likely they are exaggerating.

Maybe so Att, but it makes a better joke my way. "Are you suffering from bladder control? Is a nagging leak an embarassment? Then use Barsleak. It works on your car; it will work on you." :D

Just checked. 40% of monthly time is billed late, resulting in paperwork issues and some loss. 40% of the time we bill to clients each month is $12 million, which is where the figures come from. We bill out about $25-30million a month between our 7 national offices. Must be true. I know my little 5-attorney department had 3-4 attorneys working on a case last month, and we billed $100K.

Wow! I can't believe this! I was doing some work for my dad after I cam home from Wal-Mart after buying some new clothes, a game (Turok:Evolution), and some other stuff. Well. I had to pick up some limbs that my dad had cut off to make mowing the lawn easier.(We have a HUGE back yard full of trees and some really small ponds. Well I was riding the lawn mower with the wagon attatched, feeling grumpy because i wanted to play Turok so much. Well I got out there and hopped across part of the pond(Told ya they were small. ) and pciked up some limbs and tosses them across the water. I turned around to pick up some more and bumped into an old sword scabberd! I was pyshced. It was hanging a tree limb buy an old chain. I'm guessing it's fairly old, but it has some rust screws and other modern things on it so it must have been owned by someone who fixed it up or something. It had a metal top and bottom and the middle is black leather... or something similiar. There are holes in the black thing though. It is so cool. I doubt I will find a sword to go with it though. It looks like a large dagger sheath.

I wouldn´t say that. I´m not grouchy yet.

Attalus, that explains some. I don´t have that problem since I don´t have any "patients" per se. ;)

Z, LLAO!

*mutters* It seems everyone is borrowing my willow stick® without asking. :D Perhaps it is time to add a different line in my sig. How about "Proud proprietor of the willow stick®©™"? :D
