Sir Tainly, NAH! Not enough snow for that yet.
Willow, see above comment! LOL We've got maybe an inch still on the ground but we have more coming this week, if the weatherman is right. |

Actually, Willow, some weeds are grass, like Dallisgrass and crabgrass, and some are not, like chickweed and false clover. The pre-emergents are much more effective on the non-grass varieties. That is, using the definition of a grass as any of a large family (Gramineae) of monocotyledonous mostly herbaceous plants with jointed stems, slender sheathing leaves, and flowers borne in spikelets of bracts. I love that definition. |
Yeeeeef...I feel like I just walked into the middle of a Monsanto commercial. :D Good morning, everyone, or whatever it is wherever you are.

I´m going to copy the above and give it to the hubby as directions on what to mow and what not! :D I get the feeling he won´t appreciate it though ;) BTW did you know your name was also carried by one of King Philip of Macedon´s generals? And the name of a rich Roman senator? |
Ah, the infamous Galadria Stamp of Approval. I suppose you can't get your drow to do it for you either? Well, just remember when you're outside and it's a comfortable 21 degrees that sometimes it does take a real man to mow the lawn. It may not be true but you'll feel better ;)
Morning Saz |
Well, I'm off. Gotta catch the second-oldest form of transport known to man (ask Sir Tainly if he's still around...)

Morning, Saz. Hopoe that Denton is as bright and beautiful as here. ;) |
Atty, you seem to take a pervese delight in braggin about the weather - or does it just come across to me like that... just coz its almost *always* dull and grey over here... ;)
|
Of course I do, my dear Calaethis, because Texas has the greatest Novembers on the planet. Now, if we just had a poet to write something like "Home Thoughts From Abroad," ("What is so rare as a day in June...") about our blue, just-cool-enough Novembers.

Why Daddy! What a wonderful idea! Insted of writing fantasy stories, you could write peotry for "mother".. I'm sure Lady G would be flattered *laughs* Then you could compare *her* to the weather... *innocent look*

Interesting thing I found out. I've been having headaches recently...little naggy things and I thought it was just sinuses. Then I read a report about one of the major fault lines that passes through Mexico City having some seismic activity recently. This happens to be the same fault line that passes through the western part of Denton! Come to find out, Denton's been having tiny little earthquakes!! Not enough to really be noticeable, but from what I read, it's enough to cause headaches, nausea, and irritability. Freaky! -Sazerac |

Willow how are things going with the new baby? |
WEll he´s doing great. His mother? I´m not so sure about her ;) I managed to get about 3½ hours of sleep tonight, and another hour this morning. Jushua though. He sleeps soudly and gets fed on demand. I´m thikning of trading places but I won´t fit in the crib I´m afraid. He´s also very fond of IW I´m happy to report ;)
And I thought you had had enough of scrubbing so I thought MagiK could lend a hand ;) |
When me and my wife had our baby she had her night and days mixed up. It was a rough first month. Lots of late night surfing with the baby. I just went and seen some pics very cute.
And Magik the floor is still waiting. |
