Thank you. Here is you lapel pin as promised. ;)

Galadria 04-07-2002 10:04 AM

(Chomps her gum) (To Krisach) "Duck sauce's gotta be ordered a day in advance" (gives ReGiN fortune cookie)

Talthyr Malkaviel 04-07-2002 10:04 AM

Yes!! I've got a lapel pin... *sticks it on forehead* Hmm, for some reason this hurts, maybe I'll just wear it normally.

Krishach 04-07-2002 10:06 AM

A day in advance?! Sheesh, those ducks must be hard to come by nowadays, eh?

(pops gum) "Yeah, they come all the way from Peking, manager says. An' the soy sauce is on the table, right next to the saltandpepper." (Goes over to flirt with the regular that always tips her high when she bends over the table far enough.)

*Shoves a rowing oar into Neb's mouth... sideways*
Geez Neb, I need to get an instant messenger so I can bug you to DM me. :D

Galadria 04-07-2002 10:31 AM

((Looks up from where she has been flirting with the regular, gives ReGiN an irritated glance, as he never has tipped well, addresses some sotto-voice comment to the regular, who is smirking, then ambles slowly over to ReGiN's table) "Whasamatter?" (Arches eyebrows) "Ya don' like ya fortune? OK, here's another." (Gives him one in which the paper reads, "Help. I'm a prisoner in a Chinese bakery."

ROFLMAO :D
*runs off to rescue whoever wrote the fortune*

Galadria 04-07-2002 10:38 AM

My father did that every time that we went to eat Chinese food. It always irritated my sister and I, I'm sure that was why he did it, but now, I smile every time I think of it.

Bahamut 04-07-2002 10:40 AM

Hello people, I hope everything's going fine for you all ;)

Galadria 04-07-2002 10:49 AM

Hi, Bahamut, we're good, here. Lotta fun on the forum today. (Shoves menu into his hands) ;)

Talthyr Malkaviel 04-07-2002 10:52 AM

Yeah, everything's just fine, hey have you heard, Galadria's a vampire... do you want a campaign sticker... how about 'Drink Blood!- It's got everything you need, and just the kick to satisfy those cravings you have'

Bahamut 04-07-2002 10:56 AM

Hiya! Well hmm... roasted turkey? hehehe

Hmm, do you know these ads of drink milk or something where britney has this mustache and all that as well as other known celebs.. well just change that to blood and you have a new campaign ;)

uss 04-07-2002 10:57 AM

Type whaever you feel like, but this place is really for conversation, so let's converse!!!

Galadria 04-07-2002 11:03 AM

Hi, uss (smiles, shows prominent canines with blood mustache) Just imagine that you are in a real cafe (or bar, when LoA is here) and reply to the conversation.

uss 04-07-2002 01:57 PM

thanks for the welcome!

to all the beerbellies: have you heard of a beer called A Le Qoc? it`s Estonian but i`ve heard it`s popular(for such a small country). Estonians drink really much(they`re friends with the Irish folk)

Neb 04-07-2002 02:00 PM

*Kicks, Kaz, TAO, Encard, Exxon, Seph and Talthyr to remind them to post on his RP, RBF is spared because he's on a cruise....*

*sob* Why must weekends be so short? :( I've got school tomorrow! :(

Cloudbringer 04-07-2002 02:35 PM

Hey Lioness! Thanks for the new thread!

I'm cleaning up some papers in my computer room and trying to get my cd player to work. It has a mind of its own lately!

How is everyone? Having a good weekend I hope!

Galadria 04-07-2002 02:38 PM

(Watches Kaz, TAO, Sephy, Exxon, Encard and Talthy hopping around, holding their bruised shins) Wow, Neb, it's hard to tell what is keeping them from rushing over there. It is frustrating, isn't it, to set up a roleplay and wanting somebody else to post?
uss, you are welcome. I don't drink beer myself, but I have never heard of that one. It's interesting the mix of nationalities, here. Have you ever wondered why so many Brits and Aussi/Kiwis love RPGs so much?
EDIT: Hi, Cloudy, we cross-posted. Did you read what I wrote about my shopping disaster on the last thread?

Hiya Cloudscrumptious!
How are you today dear lady? Good luck clearing up. If all else fails you can always cast one of of your marvelous greater whirlwinds to take care of it. .
Hi everyone! Dear lady Galadria, I hope your hangover has cleared up or at least become manageable. .

Galadria 04-07-2002 02:45 PM

Hi, Relic, all serene. I recover fast. Thanks for the thought.

The.Relic 04-07-2002 02:54 PM

Dear lady Galadria, you are most certainly welcome. I am one of those fortunate souls who only gets a hangover once in every millenia or so. Must be a hold over from all those eons hole up my cursed cave. I do empathize with you and anyone else who has one. I have had one or two in my life and know how unpleasant they can be. .
I am happy to know you are feeling better dear lady

Galadria 04-07-2002 03:14 PM

Relic, I rarely get them, but last night, there was this party with free champagne, and one thing led to another... I lurked your thread but didn't post, as I didn't know the guy. It's touching how everyone around here develop these lasting friendships in just a few months. I have been on the forum only seven, and now when I can't get on, I really miss it.

Lady Blue03 04-07-2002 03:20 PM

Hello hello everyone! Im currently taking a break from typing my 20 page book report on The Two
Towers(Lord of the Rings #2). *Stretches* Ah much better! So hows everybody today? Im quite well, seeing as i finally got to see Shawn(my infamous date that i thought wasnt going to call me back). He came over in his car thats spray painted like a cow with 'got milk?' written on the back, lol, and we watched half of Scary Movie before he had to leave *melts into a puddle* ah my life is good right now! *starts to reform herself, then realizes she melted her clothes and dissolves again* i knew i shoulda fixed that...

The.Relic 04-07-2002 03:22 PM

Heh heh, lady Galadria! It is so true. Some of us are hold-outs from 'ole blue', when only about 50 people posted regularly. Even though we are not know my the majority today, or even post as often as we did in the early days. IW is in a very real way a second home to us, and we never really truly leave. .
There are not many gaming forums that survive as long as IW has, which in itself is a testament to Ziroc, Memsie, Saz and all the other great people here who have made IW what it is.

The.Relic 04-07-2002 03:25 PM

Good afternoon sweet LadyBlue! Good to see you and glad you had a chance to break away from the monotiny to stop by and say hello

Ack, no! I'll have to go look! Hmm... you seem to be posting so you survived!

The.Relic 04-07-2002 03:46 PM

Well hello there Lady Blue, I almost didn't recognize you! Absolutely, I just happen to have a Robe of Vecna here in my bag of holding which you are more than welcome to have. It should fit nicely and keep the chill out.
Heh, it has been a long time since I have had to deal with the complexities of homework for myself. But I am often engaged in conversations with my daughter who is a freshman this year when we talk on the phone everyday and we always talk about her homework woes. Ironically, she tells me she takes her books home from school every day and reads and studies them all the time. Heh, she gets bored on vacations and can't wait to get back to school.

*puts on his ultra cool shades* Hey! Anyone in here in for a party?

Lady Blue03 04-07-2002 04:00 PM

Thankie! *makes sure its tied securley around her waste* Did somebody say party?? Woohoo! But isnt it a bit early? Ah well. Its party time! Excellent! (starts singing the Waynes World song)

Ah, but it's not too early in most of Europe, so just pretend you're having a party there :D

Oh man, I just woke up and my back feels like absolute crap... so does my mind. Does anyone have any Tylenol or anything to relieve pain?

Lioness 04-07-2002 04:08 PM
