after hitting level five(meaning you regeneration will kick in) you can start picking on people a level or two higher than yourself with terrible win rations(like 100-2000 win/lose) which will get you more exp and gold

im beating level 13-14 people and im level 10!

well, i, hmmm...dont wanna pick on my friends? yeah, thats it :D . seriously, youre not the kind of 300-5000 win/lose ratio kind of person whom probably fights unarmored with bare fists that i pick on.

Nice try assasin

Assassin 05-25-2003 08:26 PM

I thought that I might... But I bow down to the supreme cheesiness of Squires. -_-;;

Rapida 05-25-2003 09:30 PM

I hear you also have some cheese now? BTW I am beating level 21's regualrly
so yes squires=cheese but necassary cheese in some cases

Assassin 05-25-2003 11:19 PM

Nope. Not a single darn Squire yet. And why are Squires cheesy? Well, because they allow you to max out everything way too early, and what's the fun in that?

Rapida 05-26-2003 12:52 AM

Actually the squires didnt help much at first because i only had like 2 granted that is more gold. Not much though, now i have 9 though so CHA CHING.

I know I'm helping out in that regard - I think I may even be catching up to you in Level. I'm up to Level 17, Iron Scimitar/Spiked Cudgel, 288-69. Upgrading weapons all out is definitely the way to go. I'm picking on people 4-5 Levels higher than me & winning 90%+ of the time, which means lots of Gold & XP per battle. I think I'll save up for a Steel Warhammer just in time to lose it to the reset. :(

Raistlin Majere 05-28-2003 07:46 AM

its a bummer i found out about this game in the middle of the tournament, im level 15(rising fast do to the x2exp/gold thing for the last few days of the tournament), but i would be quite alot higher had i found this sooner(duh). does anybody know if you can keep your squires after the reset?

Assassin 05-28-2003 08:32 AM

No, thank god. Level 20 for me, and going rapidly... Rapida is still too dang powerful for me.

Assassin 05-28-2003 08:01 PM

Wow... I'm leveling fast. Level 22, stats of 5/20/20/10/3, using 18 dpr Rapiers. Whee.... My goal in this tourney- kill Red Rapida

Imrahil 05-28-2003 11:14 PM

My goal is to stay ahead of you, Assassin, despite the fact (or maybe because of it) that you keep killing me.

I got my Steel Warhammer & am sticking with the Iron Scimitar in the off-hand & am finally upgrading my stats (10-13-13-13-10 now). Still running around naked with no armor, though (hmmm... does that make me a Kensai?). I'm up to Level 23 & am beating up on high loss Level 27-29's now. Going back to Level 0 (Raistlin - from what I've gathered from their forums, all squires get "freed" with the reset) is going to be painful!

I've noticed that I almost always have the lowest win total of anyone on the same page as me, which is kind of cool.

- Imrahil

Assassin 05-28-2003 11:19 PM

Yep. I only have 18 dpr weapons, too :0 Actually, from what I gather, I only beat you because we were tied at 33 hp each, and since I attacked, I got to attack first. I hit for 47 damage, and it was sayonara

I'm saving up for Steel Warhammers, but it's painful. Hell, my weapons are both less powerful than you off-hand weapon. Oh well... Wait until I level up, though. Then, I'll get my revenge (and, my Steel Warhammers to boot)

Rapida 05-29-2003 10:57 AM

Hey assasin you should kill me soon since i stopped playing as much. Good Luck.

Imrahil 05-31-2003 10:57 PM

So how did everyone wind up?

I finished at Level 31, 5,100,500 XP, 403-83, 2 Steel Warhammers, no armor, 20-20-20-20-20 stats.

I began losing interest towards the end, I must admit. Once I got to the point where I was attacking the same group of people over & over it got less interesting. OTOH, I'm not looking forward to starting over. I kind of hope Zeras keeps things the same rather than a complete overhaul of the game, though.

Assassin 05-31-2003 11:40 PM

I agree, Imrahil. I didn't play today, because of the fact that I'm going to have to restart anyways. I wouldn't mind some more items, however. Like Potions, etc.

Rapida 05-31-2003 11:52 PM

Yea the whole ideal of a tournament now is kind of I dont know unfufilling. I like it better the ideal he has now.

BTW I had 2 most expensive 1 handed weapons and all the best armor... it kinda sucked. Cause not a challenge. (I really dont mean this in a braggert way.)

Assassin 06-01-2003 03:12 PM

Heh. The site is offline now, because I think that Zeras (it's a she, btw ) will need to put some new stuff in.
