The Quests of Cyril

Players: Cyril, Tao, Arcades...
Potential players: Liam and Morgie from the Tavern

TaoWolf is directly related to the quests of Cyril, for more than one reason, including but not limited to the Tavern by the Creek Thread.

Now that Arcades has reunited (sorta) with Tao, that puts Arcades into the Cyril plot, if there be one to be in. Since Liam was travelling with Arcades when the attack occurred in the wilderness which caused the were-transformation of Arcades...we can then assume that Liam has an opening into the Cyril subplot as well...or he can sense the trail of the passing of his sister Nanashi and follow her on the route to the Stronghold where the Marcos subplot is being hosted. Since the Cyril plotis uncertain at this time, it would be best to not get too involved in it, and instead get onto that trail of Nanashi if you want to do some real RP.

It is your choice, Skye. Which one will you be devoted to? What is your posting likely to be like in the future?

Also, since the Tavern thread was ressurrected for a short time, this gave birth to a seperate entity of Morgie. He is related to the Cyril plot, but can choose his own path now that he is free. He can be an independant, since he is a free radical, or he can choose to commit to a plot. Let us know!

This will conclude the players involved in the Cyril plots for now. Cyril already knows what he wants out of this section, so stay in contact with him if you are involved with his character.

Misc. subplot #1

Quest of Rong Er and Lyulfe

Depending on Skye's posting habits, this will either go forward or be forgotten about until later. At the moment, they were going to take a job to discover the mysterious death of the family murdered. This would lead them eventually to the Reaper. This would also be a way to tie two subplots together since these two characters were involved with Larry's group at one point, and with Rong and Lyulfe in another game.

It appears that I have covered everything that is on the board right now in the previous posts above this one. If you are playing this game...you are involved in one of the two important plots...

the Marcos plot or the Cyril plot.

If you are with the Cyril plot, make sure you keep open communication with Cyril on your involvement, either here or whatever works best.

Larry_OHF 12-20-2004 02:32 PM

There are other things happening that have not necessarily been addressed, so just to lay them out on the table,,,here they are to the best of my knowledge.

1. The Reaper:
He is a future threat to all, both light and shadow. He may also find an enemy in the storms.

2. The Good Morgie:
Needs to figure out why he is here in this game and what to do with it.

3. Nanashi vs. Liam:
Future confrontation. Personal matter.

4. Shadow vs. Storm:
Possible future plot...but has not evolved into reality.

5. Shadow vs. Darkness:
Initial stages of this confrontation have been set, but the reactions/counterreactions to get us cooking have not matured. Future plot possible.

Have I covered all the bases?

Larry - A modification to what you're calling the Cyril plot:

Let's not assume a developed plotline regarding Cyril and TAO or any characters that have been traveling with her. A message needs to be delivered to her character and, from my end, that is all that needs to take place. Should that produce in-game developments then we may need to discuss a plotline of some kind here, but for the moment there is no detailed plotline in this area.

Ok...I edited a few words in two of my posts to reflect the uncertainty of anything game-like. If you have any gaming to do, then you and the players associated near you know who each other are.

Until then, let us say that that the Marcos development is the only real gaming group...with several individuals doing certain activities in a non-united fashion and can potentially become a collaboration of players eventually and possibly, pending the future yet uncertain developments of gaming...or something...

Larry_OHF 12-24-2004 08:19 AM

dplax...that post you made in prison....that was fantastic! keep up the great work!

dplax 12-24-2004 08:20 AM

Thank you. I just thought I'd try a different approach to the whole affair. Basically Andrion is thinking if he goes down then he'll take Larry with him, or he'll try to save himself by putting all the blame on Larry...hehe...this should get interesting.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

dplax 12-25-2004 02:57 PM

Same to you Tao! And to everyone in the game of course. Enjoy your holidays!

Larry_OHF 12-26-2004 09:18 PM

I cannot hold back for much longer. With the heat between Larry and Andrion building...something big should happen soon, and I hope everybody is ready for it.

Remember that Nanashi is close by, btw.

Morgeruat 12-27-2004 09:38 AM

Merry xmas all

RoSs_bg2_rox 12-27-2004 04:01 PM

Larry, remember that Silt and Vincent are still with Marcos, and he hasn't spoken to the pair yet.

Yeah I know. I can see where you would have concern, but trust me on this. I am an evil master-mind, afterall.

Morgeruat 12-28-2004 08:19 AM

*musing* unless of course it wasn't really marcos that called for them, and someone working for the Shadow Mage is taking Andrion to where he can be "dealt with"

Larry_OHF 12-28-2004 08:54 AM

Pinfold....Shush!

Morgeruat 12-28-2004 10:52 AM

you are the modding mage, if I've given away too much, edit me to something misleading, like rabid bunnies that want to *wigglefluff* Andrion to death.

Elif Godson 12-28-2004 11:19 AM

LOL

RoSs_bg2_rox 12-29-2004 08:04 PM

Ooo, mr devious aye. But the great Morgeruat has foiled your plans, how will the Shadow Mage react. :D

or has the modding mage already sublty altered my post to throw you off balance? eh? *raises eyebrow*

Larry_OHF 01-02-2005 06:03 PM

Why won't the players play???

:(

Legolas 01-02-2005 07:42 PM

Mostly, the whole thing with christmas and the new year starting. A time to crawl out of the damp dark space that houses the computer and see the people who name themselves your relatives and friends. It goes hand in hand with sleep deprivation, sugar-induced stupors and holidays which make it the perfect time to get out of the house completely.
If not one or more of the above, there's the alcohol, winter depression and tradition of neat-computer-game-gift-granting to be blamed. Or maybe the aliens, a random government or the alignment of the planets.
Whatever the case, it'll pass soon enough.

Cyril Darkcloud 01-03-2005 09:28 AM

Morguerat - I'll try and have a post for Myron up later today.

Morgeruat 01-03-2005 11:43 AM

*nods* thanks, I'm back at work, so should be able to post a bit more than I have been (had to take most of last week off because we can only save so much time off each year)

Larry_OHF 01-03-2005 04:06 PM

I had a post, but decided to think it over first. Cyril, you have been sent a copy of it for your opinion. Look for it in a place near to the sky.

For everyone else...I hope that you all are familiar enough with the Mage to know that a demi-god in D&D can have up to 4 avatars at one time, representing his presence. What I have done is make three of the avatars active due to the battle taking place, and one of the three has been assaulted by the winds of Cyril...so two more are rallying in anger. The fourth has been left to guard the tower.

Everyone decided to move the party for New Year's to OUR house this year at the last minute, and well.. I've been VERRA busy... BUT, i have a couple of days to rest and goof before 4 days of military duty, then the spring semester starts...

TAOWolf 01-03-2005 05:59 PM

Larry,
important PM for ya :D

Larry_OHF 01-03-2005 07:33 PM

Andrion and Nanashi will hold off their assault long enough to give others in the castle time to ...uh,,, react...

TAOWolf 01-03-2005 09:33 PM

Sorry, Arcades.. it was the only way...

*innocent look* :D

RoSs_bg2_rox 01-03-2005 10:31 PM

I am currently waiting on Legolas to post.

ArcadesSabboth 01-03-2005 11:07 PM

=)~ Sure it was Tao. There isnt an innocent fiber left in your being, I should know by now.

Elif Godson 01-04-2005 02:43 PM

hey Larry, where would one go about finding #1, 2, and 3 of this here wonderful tale of ours. I cannot seem to find it, that or I am just blind, which is probably the case. If you have the link, hook me up please, and if it is obvious, just shoot me Thanks

Morgeruat 01-04-2005 03:55 PM

a few places, this link has info on it.

here is the third thread

sorry I didn't relink them all, but I'm a bit taxed for time, and the thread there has most of the links itself.

so Im blind Thanks

Morgeruat 01-04-2005 05:40 PM

Don't feel bad several of the game threads are over a year old, and I have to dig that post up from a while ago.

dplax 01-04-2005 06:01 PM

I hope what I posted fits into the timeframe Andrion has before guards reach the room. If not I'll cut back on the post.

Larry_OHF 01-04-2005 06:52 PM

I will be around later tonight. Cannot do anything in response for about 3 or 4 hours. Sorry!

Larry_OHF 01-04-2005 11:18 PM

For Marcos, Silt, and Vincent.

Don't worry guys! You'll not miss anything. I have you three positioned far enough away from the commotion that you actually do not hear the sounds of men running about wondering who had screamed. At the moment, only a hand-full of men have actually heard the dying man's scream and are nervously investigating, but since they do not know what has happened, they dare not disturb the Inquisitor during his important meeting unless they knew exactly what was wrong. So hang tight and continue the deliberations.

We are having to move this foward in this manner just to spike interest...for interest seemed to be waning even without the help of the holidays. It will be fun, nonetheless. That is what we are here for...

Elif Godson 01-05-2005 08:57 AM

sounds good to me, I figured we were a way's out of earshot anyway's.
