By the way, Tobbin sent me a gif for Lady Avalon with the background removed. However, when I right click it, I can only save as a .bmp, which when I upload to angelfire to host it, refuses to work. Any ideas? By the way, others I host all work fine, but they are stored as gifs.

You can download sharewares that translate BMPs into JPEGs or GIFs. I can search one for you, if you want.
Did you receive my today mail with Yorick's photo (JPEG) ? Do JPEG pics work for your album ?

Simple old Windows Paint will convert BMPs to GIFs or JPGs. Just change the file type when you save.

Stealthy, there are alot of programs to make animated gifs in, bmp files can´t be animated only gif´s. Jpeg are great for photos and gif´s for animations and logotype pics with a few color in it. BMP is windows standard picture format. Great for backgrounds and such, but a wuite large format though.
If youwant a great free program you should download AcdSee which is a picture viewing program but in it you can convert pictures to different types (though not gifs) but non the less it´s a great program to view and control picds with. For thoose who really like to work with images there is programs you have to buy, like Image ready from Adobe, Fireworks from Macromedia, Ulead has soem cool stuff and we have Gif animator.

Did I lost myself again somewhere along all this, damn all that wine ..

To Stealthy: I think your sig is messed up. I thought it used (on the old board) to say "Charlie's cheap invisibility potion" and then the gag is that you have someone sneaking around mostly invisible (except for their skeleton!) Anyway, it now says "Charlie's Shite invisiblity potion" I don't get it - a typo?
