I chunked Hare Dallis quickly. He called me Raven once. And only Once..

There *is* however, one character I actually hate more than Anomen, and I´m glad he didn´t show up in BG2, or I´d have killed him again, only in a more painful way: Eldoth Kron. Eldoth is a lying, cheating, arrogant, selfish, sexist bastard, and I can´t stand the fact that he just wanted to have Skie around to take advantage of her and her father. I´m with Shar-Teel on this one: kill the idiot.

The most annoying speech in the game has to be the "you must gather your party" bit. It drove me crazy. Good thing there´s a patch to make it go away.

I always kill Eldoth Kron when I encounter him in Cloakwood - and then I leave his corpse on the ground - even the vultures need something to eat (if they can stomach him, that is) :D

And everybody learn to hate: "you must....." - I'm not even going to write it.

Whats so bad about Saemon though? I mean without him you cant go to that island, you get part of the vorpal blade from him and, you get this shortcut to meeting Balthasar. I mean it IS true that because of you, that his ship is gone.

have u played tob? well saemon contantly plays you for a fool, hes an idiot, looking out ONLY for himself, hes like a double glazing salesman! a bad penny!

Saemon Havarian is a close second.

Officially have to agree with this opinion.
I really hated that b@st@rd. Especially the coming back again and again when I was trying to sleep. And even when I reimported my characters after completing the game (all at 40th level) I was not able to kill him in Spellhold. Go figure that one stupid frigging mage can hold at bay and defeat 6 characters of which four were spellcasters (three mages and one cleric).

Also I found Neeber a big pain, I cracked up after he talked to me for like the 6th time and just talked to him and see if he ever shuts up, he finished in like a bit and gave me like 1000 experience I think. I dont really care about Saemon because he DOES help you. In Bg1 the flaming fist was a needle to me. Mae'var was a pain to, renal also.

Me thinks Neeber must be a brother of Noober in Nashkel: Heya, heya... But that was merely annoying and not at all reason to hate him/them

Of course, Jon Irenicus is way up there, too. It´s not bad enough that he "experiments" on your character, he hurts Imoen, too. That in itself is reason enough to really hate him.

That is in my opinion his one redeeming quality: the hurting of Imoen. I kept her in my party in BG1 where I liked her character. I hated her in BG2, what a whining little bugger she had become. I was glad the be rid of her and I filled her slot with a single class mage so that I could also keep Yoshino

No, he is looking out for himself and trying to make some easy money, the exact same thing i would do in his situation.

amazing how no one mentioened the drow in ustnatha and phaere

jaheiras also annoying in the way she leaves your party for good always

The Jabberwocky 06-20-2002 02:16 AM

NPC's?

Eldoth. Not only is he the scum of scum, his face is something you'd like to run through a cheese grater. Die, Eldoth, die.

And Haer'Dalis. That whistling thing he does ESPECIALLY annoys me. And raven, am I? Ugh.

Annoyman. I believe I don't even have to state a reason for this.

Non-NPC's?

Saemon. I was just fine with him in SoA. But in ToB? AHHHHHRRGHHH. I wish I could at least hit him in the head with a herring or SOMETHING. But, NOOO... He just has to do his ol' dimension door thing... UGH.

Can't think of anyone else at this moment.

stenbjorn 06-20-2002 09:06 AM

i usually just let aerie get killed and went for viconia as aerie did my head in...

khalid was also uber annoying, there should be an option where u could take a brick to their head...or at least where u could take their mouths shut

Sean 06-29-2002 01:32 AM

The thing in the tank that reads your mind in the drow city and threatens to expose u unless you do its bidding.
