Illumina Drathiran'ar 02-03-2005 11:02 PM

Two out of three ain't bad, but it also ain't correct... Anyone else care to take a stab at it?

Zarr 02-04-2005 10:33 AM

Hmmm...

1)Ring of holiness
2)Armour of faith
3)Ardulla's Fall +1

I'm not sure about the 3rd one. If it's not Ardulla's Fall, is it perhaps a necklace of some sort? I think I might know what it is if it is a necklace.

Illumina Drathiran'ar 02-04-2005 10:40 AM

No, it's not the flail. I'm thinking that might be the reward from the Helm temple... but I asked about Lathander.

It's also not the necklace.

Jerr Conner 02-04-2005 01:43 PM

Yes the mace is from the Helm temple.

Jimmy Joe Jamboree 02-04-2005 02:41 PM

Is the third option the Helm of Glory?

To the hells with it... It's the Staff-Spear. Zarr's up.

Jerr Conner 02-04-2005 08:09 PM

Lol! Twas a good question though, Illumina.

Kestrel Daystar 02-05-2005 09:34 AM

Oh, I know now. Is it the Staff-Spear?

--Kestrel--

Zarr 02-06-2005 05:21 PM

Okay here is my question: What is the name of the angry merchant who visits you in the fighter stronghold demanding that you remove the bandits?

shamrock_uk 02-06-2005 05:37 PM

Ah! Just played through this! Tolmias something.

Zarr 02-06-2005 05:45 PM

You've almost got the first name right although you spelt it wrong. I also want his second name

shamrock_uk 02-06-2005 05:51 PM

Bah and humbug! I'll have to pass the baton...

Zarr 02-09-2005 04:49 AM

I guess this silence means no one knows the answer to my question. I'll give it a day or two and if no one knows the answer I'll post it and someone else can post a new question.

Illumina Drathiran'ar 02-09-2005 08:13 PM

I think you should just post a new question...

Jerr Conner 02-09-2005 09:49 PM

I'd know if I actually paid attention to their names :D

Sir Goulum 02-09-2005 10:01 PM

Tolmas Bendelia. And if that isn't right, my game is messed up. (Just did that thing 10 minutes ago, hehehe)

Correct, your up Sir Goulum!

Sir Goulum 02-11-2005 10:06 PM

Okey dokey... after that monstrosity of an impossible one, I'll give you the easiest one I can think of off the top of my head:

How many different sets of eggs are there(For adalon)?

Jerr Conner 02-11-2005 10:07 PM

3 sets.

First Phaere's, then Solaufein's, and then Adalon's.

Sir Goulum 02-11-2005 10:22 PM

Golly, that was quick! ;)

You're up.

Jerr Conner 02-11-2005 10:29 PM

Ok, here's a semi-hard one:

What're the names of the following three NPCs:

A seagull-hating halfling
A male gnome "companion" (Think of what companian usually entails in BGII)
A Woman insulted by Nalia

[ 02-11-2005, 10:31 PM: Message edited by: Jerr Conner ]

Illumina Drathiran'ar 02-13-2005 11:52 AM

Ummm....... Wow. I would have thought one of those enough, but here goes...

Stanet?
Bernard. Bernard the "Companion"
Hm. There are many. SO! Although I know the woman you're talking about (and can't remember her name), we're going to say Viconia.

[ 02-13-2005, 11:54 AM: Message edited by: Illumina Drathiran'ar ]

Jerr Conner 02-13-2005 03:00 PM

You almost got them. The first two, their names do start with those letters. The second one's name isn't Bernard though, but it almost resembles Bernard just with a few differet letters.

Back to the first one, almost right. Those two are in the same district though. Also different lettered names.

The third one, you almost have right and I'm pretty sure you know, especially since you mentioned Viconia. Viconia does talk to the woman as well, but only if another member is in your party, and there are dire consequences :D

If no one else gets it I'm giving it to you ;)

Illumina Drathiran'ar 02-13-2005 04:16 PM

Was it Bertard?

Yes, you're talking about that woman in the Government District. I know. And if Valygar is there you get into the whole "I almost dyed his leather pink" conversation, which is amusing as Valygar's default primary color is awfully close to pink...

Jerr Conner 02-13-2005 04:29 PM

Close enough ;)

SixOfSpades 02-14-2005 06:06 PM

Slight correction: Stivan the Hunter, Bertrand the companion, and the woman's name is something like Olianna. But don't give me the baton, I have even more trouble thinking up questions than I do answering them.

Jerr Conner 02-14-2005 07:04 PM

Ok then it goes to Illumina. You're up Illumina. Make it very very hard?

Sir Goulum 02-14-2005 07:44 PM

As if these aren't hard enough...

Illumina Drathiran'ar 02-15-2005 01:42 AM

Me? Drat. I'm like Six... It's easier to answer than it is to ask.

Umm...

Very very hard? Okay. You have a reputation of four, and the character leading your party is Minsc. You are not allowed to check reputation scales or look up Minsc's Charisma score. Your party has 36,507 gold pieces. He talks to the merchant that runs the Temple of Sekolah store and sells the following items: Ring of Gaxx, History of the Fateful Coin, Short Sword, Lilacor, and five Arrows of Detonation. He buys four potions of extra healing. Take the amount of gold you have after that transaction (subtracting the amount of gold Cromwell requires to assemble The Equalizer, and then add the amount you would recieve if you first donated one thousand gold pieces to the Temple of Oghma and then sold it to Roger the Fence), and turn the number upside down. That is a hint to the answer of the following question:

What is the name of Nalia's butler?

Jerr Conner 02-15-2005 02:29 PM

Daelson!

TheGodThatFailed 02-15-2005 02:38 PM

rofl Illumina, i knew that anyway, without your big equation. Was there really much point to that :D ... I love it :D

Yes. It was a warning. The next person who asks for a really really hard question gets something like that equation as their question.

You're up, Jerr.

Jerr Conner 02-15-2005 07:03 PM

Hmmm...

Ok here's a question. If you summon the Seldarine Avatar before killing the Mage at the Suldanessalar Temple, what does the mage say just before getting pwned by the avatar?

Pop 'n Fresh 02-24-2005 03:21 AM

I think i'm gonna die now.

Link 02-24-2005 04:21 AM

I thought it was something along the lines of "We must delay for the master!"

Illumina Drathiran'ar 02-24-2005 07:16 PM

I didn't think it was possible to summon the avatar with foes still there. Is it a trick question?

Neomi 02-25-2005 05:06 PM

No, you can summon the avatar right at the beginning of the fight. But I usually just kill the baddies first to get the XP for myself... Then when the avatar comes out he looks around like "where'd the enemies go?"

That being said, I still don't know what the mage says. Oh, well. I'm never any good at trivia anyways.

Q'alooaith 02-25-2005 07:58 PM

He either shouts somthing about being doomed..

Though I can't get the thought he says somthing like

"Not again"

Or words to that effect.

Jerr Conner 03-03-2005 01:35 PM

Goes to the last person for getting the closest answer.

The mage says "Oh no..." or "Oh my...", I forgot

Link 03-03-2005 02:41 PM

*cough* Lame *cough* ;)
