Wow. I just bought Carpet Crawlers 1999 on itunes... this is incredible.
It's like Modern Peter Gabriel, meets old Genesis, meets Phil Collins era Genesis.

Sounds so good hearing Gabriel and Collins singing together. Sounds great hearing the production skills all have developed over the years working together.

I was originally gunning for a sega genesis related pun but have realised that would've been purile at best.

I feel Gabriel's solo work destroys anything Collins has ever produced...

However that may be down to the vid for sledgehammer coupled with my weakness for quality animation.

Collins has the skill, but IMO not the integrity of Gabriel. Is a reunion really realistic? Are there any ego-deminishing drugs that could be slipped into Phil's latte?
