Man, it's been so quiet. I guess I better add another picture. :)

Here is #7.

Posting pics is a proper method to awake the community, eh? :)
Both are brilliant. The wolf (?) is perhaps a little too cute :D...

Will these be used as character pics or as in-game encounters?
I ask because I am always wondering if character pics should have backgrounds like those you added here or if netutral bgs are better.

You should have seen the first couple of takes. The wolf was smaller and much cuter. ;)

These are character pics. I have been doing them with backgrounds, but I think they could just as easily be done without them. I just find these more interesting. :) I think it's really h ard to do generic encounter pics, b/c you can't really include a background, as you never know how the designer is planning on using the image. With these, I figure it's like showing a picture of your wife, you have a representative image that makes her look good, but it isn't necessarily taken within the last couple of days. :D:D:D

Ha ha... ;)

Nice stuff, good backgrounds and clothes and all that. (Pictures are a great way to wake up the community!)

(I was away, though - business trip, you know...)

Welcome back, Uatu. :)

Not only are they a pleasant wake up call, but they are nice diversion during finals. I've got three done, and three to go. (Finals, that is.)

Okay, then I will post some pics, too! I am not sure if I already posted the first. The others are quite new. I must admit that I do not know what a crossbow looks like... :)

Some sprites:

The first pic is lacking shadows...

Very nice work, Dinonykos. I like all of these, but particularly the center sprite. :) It reminds me of the group of ninjas that are always harassing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. :D:D:D

The crossbow looks fine :)

My favorite is the last picture (barbarians?) - their beards and all make a very nice scene. :D (Manikus is right about the picture before that, though - and the picture before that one, too ;) )
