Would you actually see the arrows sticking outta him or just an expression?

LOL, just an expression. With his 98% magic resistance arrows are the only thing you can kill him with. He'll cut you down before you knew what happened if he is hostile and gets anywhere near your party.

I was just wonderin becuz i havent started the game yet and i wasnt sure lol

Just feel like reiterating that, IMHO, if you are going to play a good party and really want to try to roleplay it faithfully then you should not kill Drizzt. (Pickpocket him maybe.) Kill him when evil naturally. Neutral... yeah sure!

I killed Drizzt without having to stealth or without sacrificing an NPC. I put my entire party on the island. Equipped Ajantis with the boots of speed and walked around the lake and "uncovered" drizzt, as he went into his dialogue and walked towards me, i headed back around(to the left by the way)the lake to the island and the rest of my party. When he finally catches you on the island and asks for your help he says there, so walk your party around to the shore and blast away. Amazingly i had only 3 people with ranged attacks, me(fighter) with the light crossbow of speed-didnt hit him once with 60 bolts of lightning. Imoen with arrows of biting-hit him twice. And shockingly, Dynaheir with a +1 sling, and +2 bullets did the rest of the damage! This took less than 4 minutes i would say, and well worth it, the defender is so awesome.
