Sorry I disagree, though I thought the sentance was a bit steep too, though two years should be for a second offense. I think 6 months and loss of all assets should be right.

2 years is too lenient. 10 years behind the bars would be just nice.

^^lmao, fascist. We're talking about someone filling your inbox with unwanted emails, requiring you to press the delete key, not grevious bodily harm

Yeah, and to me it's a crime. Why should we be lenient to criminals?

I have to agree, jail time is ridiculous for someone essentially sending junk mail. Is there more to it, like they were sending viruses or phishing? It's an inconvenience for the receiver but hardly a crime warranting jail, and much less inconvenient than say telemarketing or even real junk mail which wastes resources and clogs up your mail box.

lol, so a criminal is a criminal and there's no distinction based on what the crime is? In that case let's put everyone in jail instead of giving them parking tickets for parking in the wrong place.

If you want to go that far we may as well cut the tax expenditure of prison make the punishment for all crimes from jaywalking to 1st degree murder etc., death.

Convicted in a court of law then taken to the back lot within an hour and shot. No muss, no fuss, just plug and play.

Not that I think it's a good idea, but it would simplify things.

So defensive aren't you? You did something we should know about? :P

it's called playing devil's advocate. I'm defending the point, not myself. Speaking of which, you seemed to have dodged having to reply. Run out of clever comebacks? :p

Use your brain, there's no need for me to answer a rhetorical question.

And speaking of which, are you really playing a devil's advocate or is it because the matters concern you deeply? Is it because you have done something? And afraid of a tough punishment being handed out to you? And hence the defensive mode?
