Had the judge found for the plaintiff, yes on the stupidity. However, if you read the details of the case, the plaintiff is a former prosecutor who's down on his luck. He knows the ins and outs for extending the legal process and forcing things forward. AFAIK, the judge tossed the case as soon as it was reasonably practical to do so.

Errr, I meant the judge that WAS the plaintiff. Sorry for not specifying.

The plaintiff was not only a lawyer but a judge as well.

They have the same kind of people working in Johnson County Kansas.

The issue over attorney's fee is not closed yet.

However, any payment of costs or attorney's fees would be suspended pending any appeal of the verdict. In addition, there is no guarantee that the Chungs could actually collect attorneys fees from Mr. Pearson."

$65 million over a pair of pants?? It's people like this that ruin it for the rest of us. Why can't people stop being friggin' crybabies for a change? Instead of spending all of these thousands of hours trying to get an impossible settlement, why didn't he just cowboy up and go buy a new pair of pants?? If he handles his proffession like he handled this issue over some pants ,I can see why he is hard on his luck. If he is so pointlessly stupid with his own affairs how is he with clients?
