You now understand why I refuse to presell anything I cannot confirm I can get my long, dark fingers on at work (The Source By Circuit City). Coworker of mine presold two PSP package units, then expected me to find them for him. I could have simply chokeslammed him through the terminal. Now he keeps nagging at me to find it, and he jokingly told me if it gets refunded he'll put it under my name. Given my current position in the store I work at, I told him "go ahead" in a "yes I am annoyed with you puny meat thing" voice. (It won't affect how much I get paid.)
Even better are the customers who come in or call in day after day looking for the Wii. Why didn't Nintendo learn from the mistakes of Microsoft and (especially) Sony and make more units available? Sooner or later, people are going to start insisting I am holding out on them with their ("their") Wiis and that my company should be held personally responsible for the customer not being able to acquire one. Like hell. Go blame Nintendo and take your issues with you if you can't understand I don't go to the beach and make them with silicon chips squeezed out of my bare hands. (That's what I'd LOVE to say to customers with a copy of Nintendo's phone, e-mail, and snail mail addresses. However, I can't do that. I must be nicer.)
