Lol nice to see someone agrees with me for once :D . Seriously though what Warby says is spot on. I find Jan to be an excellent character he does as Warby mentioned complement Edwin brillaintly. I have Jan memorise some useful spells Edwin doesn't have memorised and with this tactic you will have spells for every situation. His thief skills are also excellent. His find traps and pick locks skills are very high as is his pickpocket skills and detect illusions is one of the most underated skills in the game. The fight in the guarded compound is a fine example of this without Jan in my first game this was diffucult but with him I simply had him use his detect illusions which meant the thieves stealth failed meaning so did there atempted backstabs they were then easy to kill. Now to get to the point everybody that hasn't used Jan before pick him up you won't regret it!

The link in my sig leads to a 100% Spoiler-Free guide to the game. No walkthroughs or item lists, just the rules and some good, solid advice. Yes, the current website is ugly & boring....new, pretty version to be uploaded within the week.

<font color="lightblue">That is why there are Spoiler Tags. When you see someone type
"Spoiler
[numerous blanklines]"

It means that what comes after it might reveal a plot twist. If you don`t want to know these things, don`t read spoilers. </font>

It is not Aliyah L'bliss's fault, LennonCook. I had to add a spoiler tag to LegolasTM's post.
