I like Pepper Jack.... It's not on here. :(

Cheesedale, not on list I see.

I don't think there's a single cheese I don't like. I've been sitting here for the last five minutes trying to decide on a favourite, and you know what? I'm at a loss. In general I prefer the sharper, older cheeses over the mild kind that you'd find in a regular sandwich, but I couldn't possibly choose a single type I like best - I love them all.

I love love love older sharper cheeses too. However, blue bries and roqueforts are pretty darn incredible on the palette. ;)

Ugh, can't stand cheese

The only way you could force the stuff down my throat is to cleverly disguise it as pizza topping ;) .

Scuse me, nitpick coming through...
It's spelled Feta, Cheddar and Gouda.

Anyway I couldn't choose either, but I definitely don't like all cheeses. My favourites are young Dutch cheese, brie, mozzarella, camembert, cheddar, parmesan, feta and older, harder Dutch cheeses. I also like cheeses with cumin or herbs in them, and Emmenthaler and Gruyere in fondues. But no moldy icky blue cheeses for me *shudder*, unless it's gorgonzola, which I will eat if I must (usually on pizzas).

Edit: Oh I forgot, I also like really young fresh French cheeses, the ones with herbs and garlic. Mmmm. Also nice in pasta sauces.

Ouch, nobody but me votes for Edam... a cheese fat enough to feed a family of six!

Stratos 08-31-2004 08:06 AM

Anything that hasn't got mold on it.

You do know that blue cheese is just a Gouda that have been left out in room temperature for too long, right? ;)

Definatly chedder. Parmesan is also pretty tasty.

I love feta, especially when it's extra salty. Parmesan makes a ham and cheese toastie a little bit more special. Not big on blue cheese - it smells like feet!
