Don't like him and neither the novels. Everything just goes too well, instead of making the novel exciting it makes it boring.

Well, if you really think about it, nothing goes well.

Someone is always getting injured or hurt. No one ever really has any comfortable life. All they do is win, then on to the next battle, with no real ending except the last page of every book, which doesn't count because it leaves a storyline open.

Besides, escapism is a great thing and these books do provide that :D

Where were you 20 years ago?
That's when Drizzt was just starting out. Now he has folks writing books and all. Ha!
Bring back the original Drizzt! Before he was a character, only had 1 weapon, and roamed the above ground with folks some of you never heard of.

Then theres this game that allows him to show up in. Geez, give it a break.
