I find myself unable to take this poll no matter how amusing.
The methods offered are all just a touch too dangerous.

I just use weedkiller. Takes em out every time.

The thing is, mosquito larvae actually clean the stagnant water and keep it from smelling too bad and turning into a lifeless bog. I can see how killing (or 'exterminating' if you're talking about little creatures like these) them is a good way to prevent them growing up and biting you (only the ladies do so though), and all those madmen who are trying to get a smelly swamp to evolve around your mage towers (you know who you are) will probably benefit from larvae extermination as well, but what you really want is something that keeps the mosquito girls from growing up. Like.. uhm... I'll get back to you on that one.

or you could use a horticultural oil heated and sprayed as a fog, or bacillius therengensis, dry up the water (move the earth closer to the sun for your purposes :D ), freeze the water (move the earth away from the sun) or my personal favorite, massive amounts of dry ice placed in the water. This allows you to film low budget horror films while waiting for the water to get cold enough to kill the larvae.
