I'd say Baldur's Gate. IMO Baldur's Gate II is the BEST RPG ever.

IMO Baldur's Gate 1 sucked...a LOT! I played Diablo 1 for a long time and liked it a lot. D2 got a bit boring when you've gotten to about act 3. Baldur's Gate has too many convos though ( My brother thought I was in some lame chat room).
