The only song that comes immediately to mind is (now stop laughing, guys) Abba's "Dancing Queen". I love to dance.
I really can't think up anything more modest or intellectual, darn it. |

One's that I can think of off the top of my head are:: Waylon Jennings - I've Always Been Crazy Rolling Stones - Ruby Tuesday |
Creep-Radiohead
The Drugs don't work - Verve |
Oooooohhhhh. Well it isn't me currently but described who I was 6 years ago, perfectly. I still cry everytime I hear it: Mary Jane by Alanis Morissette. Even down to living in a hotel at the time - sounds good but the novelty wears off after the first 2 years.
About 5 months ago, Survivor by Destiny's Child would have been right. Perhaps one can only choose songs that reflect who they are after the event. LOL Fabulous question BTW Shadowhound. That'll have me thinking for a while |
I love Mungo Jerry's 'In The Summertime'. It's so happy and reminds me of hot, lazy days on the beach.
Yesterday it was so cold that I was singing it to myself down the street, everyone was staring at me but I am convinced things such as cold are mind over matter. Needless to say, this song helped immensely ;) |
"Something Inside So Strong" by Labi Siffre
Or possibly "Proud" by Heather Small. Both songs mean great things to me. |
that "I'm too sexy" song!
It describes me pretty good, I think :D |
Been thinking about it for a while.
Guess my answer is "Vigil in a wilderness of mirrors"by Fish. Think that song suits me just fine. |
Uh, for those who know me this may seem weird, but the song that comes to my mind is "Stranger Song" by Leonard Cohen.
|
I don't have a song that describes me: can I have a poem insted? If so, I will choose:
The Lovesong of J Alfred Prufrock, by T S Eliot |
