Normally, I wouldn't share this, but what the hey.
A couple of years ago I was unhappily married. It was a Sunday morning and I was taking out the trash. A lady ran over to me in my apartment complex and begged me to help her. Her cat was on the roof and the FD and PD wasn't going to help her. I saw the cat and noticed that it was getting pretty hot (it was August). I went up to the third floor apartment with the lady and went out onto the balcony. I did a spiderman sort of thing and went up onto the roof. The cat was crying and quite scared. I tried calling to her repeatedly but she wouldnt budge. I got close to her and then scooped her up like a football and then ran/climbed up and over to the other side. The cat was tearing up my arm with her back claws and hissing the whole time. I was able to hand the cat (Sophie) back to the woman and then she helped me back onto the balcony. I was trembling like crazy because I'm afraid of heights. The lady was so grateful that she gave me a $50 gift certificate for The Outback Steakhouse. When I got back to my apartment, my wife saw my wounds and almost had a heart attack. hehe Anything for a kitty!! |
The only good dead are the ones that stay down :D
Good deeds tho.. I'm a walking Mother Theresa! I give to street performers and everything! |
i was in Hawaii, just got my tax refund, and needed to blow it. my friends and i went downtown, and were getting ready to go to a club to get some tourist girls, and saw a homeless guy. we talked to him for a bit, and he was cool. so we took him to our room, gave him a shower and a change of clothes, then took him to eat at Black Angus and got him a FAT steak. then we gave him twenty bucks, said bye, and went on our way to the club. i still feel good about that one.
