funny that you mentioned it, I read ALL of the elfquest books
the first 5 of the TPBs are excellent I would recommend it http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif expect for the unusual tales though... ------------------ http://hclark50.tripod.com/Gothic_Flame_Stand.gif http://hclark50.tripod.com/adamwarlocktitle2.gif http://hclark50.tripod.com/Gothic_Flame_Stand.gif |
Very Big Knights of the Dinner table fan.
At the moment I am also collecting SPAWN and Elfquest (goes very slowly due very few shops stocking ithttp://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/frown.gif ), and when I get round to it I am going to have to finish reading Sandman. But I always buy them as compilations not as comic books with the exception of Knights as it's quite a good gaming magazine. |
I'm in the middle of reading Preacher by Garth Ennis. It has such a cool storyline although the violence does get a little out of hand sometime http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif
Anyone else read it? ------------------ http://members.spree.com/sci-fi/johanngg/fcsig.gif Keldorn's Younger brother |
POISON ELVES!!!
Lusiphur is my dream elf. Drew Hayes is a really fantastic storyteller and even better artist... if you haven't read his comeeks, you are so missing out! ------------------ V***V |

It is IMHO one of the best. Excellent writing and I love Steve Dillon's art. The characters were the best and I found myself caring about what happened to them. This is what makes good stories. http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...miles/wink.gif http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...les/DRUIDD.gif |
The irish vampire is the best part of that comic book.

Garth Ennis also just finished a 12 issue series with the Punisher from Marvel Comics which was pretty good, too!
