Definitely an optimist.

I don't laugh in the face of adversity, but I sure don't let it knuckle me under!

I'd say I'm a realist. OK, so I believe things always work out for the best in the long run, so I'm an optimistic realist. Or is that a realistic optimist?

Most of the time I'm an optimist... I do have my pessimistic moments though.

Someone once said an optimist thinks this is the best of all possible worlds, and a pessimist fears this is so.

I can't agree with that though. I don't think this is the best of all possible worlds - I just think that the best of all possible worlds is attainable (though I'm not holding my breath!!)

The answer for me is neither. I'm a realist

Pure pessimistic with a twist, I always expect the worst, that way I can always be happily suprised...

Well I am neither, but being a pessimist is better, this is because pessimists always expect the worst, which means that if something bad happens they are not unpleasantly surprised, but if something good happens they are pleasantly surprised, optimists expect the best and are therefore always unpleasantly surprised when something unpleasant happens, but are never pleasantly surprised when something good happens.

I guess I'm a realist too, but with a really good imagination http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

I swing between the two, depending on my mood, the circumstances, and specific topics.
