Favourite Fantasy authors : Robert Jordan, Raymond E. Feist, Anne McCaffrey, Mercedes Lackey, Robin Hobb, Jennifer Roberson (for the Tiger and Del series), Weiss & Hickman (not all of them, bt especially the Death Gates series), M.Z. Bradley (even if my husband says it is cheap litterature !). And Zelazny. And Terry Brooks (I think every Shannara book gets better than the prevoious one, even if the 1st book was not top).

As for the previous comment regarding MZB and literature, what's literature anyway? I can't stand reading Hemingway, and Dickens himself can be a bit unreadable at times. I read what I like.
