Vecna, Yeah but how embarasing for a god to get traped in Ravenloft... My guess the Dark Powers are still Laughing at that one. Vecna would still be traped there if it wasn't for the fact they are trying to revive Grey Hawk for the third ed. The same is for Soth, the Dragonlance auther who created Soth apprently bitched a blue streak when he learned he had to use Soth in Ravenloft. Hence the Ravenloft Novel, created to bring him back to Dragonlance.

I'm kinda partial to the good old fashion Christian God...

According to Planescape good old Vecna did spend some time in the plane of shadow somewhere during his stint between Ravenloft and Greyhawk. And he nearly became the greatest power in the module Vecna Lives (Also known as "lets kill of those 2nd edition pc's to make way for 3rd Edition http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif) And lets not forget he is responsible (or rather Kas is) for two of the most well known and feared artifacts floating around.

Also Strahd I noticed in your choices a strong leaning toward Lawful neutral or good. Is this the alignment you often take for your characters? (Just curious)

I usualy play Lawful Neutral Caracters, I love that aliment. I play almost exclusively with That Aliment. Save the rare times I play a paladin.

I also think Vecna's castle and domain is on Quiatial-Plane of Ash, But The think I like most is how he was draged in Ravenloft. He used his Avatar to forge alink to cast a spell. The Mists followed the Spell to the avatar then followed the avatar conduit to the plane of Ash and got Vecna. The poor sod din't even realise that he made a link that could be traced back to him.

If your a DM strad then try to get your hands on Vecna Lives. It's one of those lets kill of the 2nd edition pc's before 3rd edition arrives. In it Vecna travels a few campaign worlds and ends up in Sigil.
