Strangely enough I was initially going to quote some info from the very same site, so yes, I catch your drift. However, judging by the guy's somewhat Indian appearance, his attitude, facial expression and the fact that no one really seems to pay attention to him in the photograph lead me to believe that the guy has no idea of the negative connotations attached to it and that the photograph is horribly taken out of its original context. Either that, or he just has a really warped sense of humour.
And for any 'no one is that daft' naysayers, if some despot or political power in an Asian country would suddenly decide to start a fullscale war, wrecking havock in the region, preaching a message of hate and committing full-scale genocide, while at the same time adopting the Christian cross as a 'logo' for their propaganda purposes, do you really think Christians in the Western world would even consider discarding their holy symbol because of the negative connotations it may have in that Asian region? No, I don't think they will either.
