2 weeks since the attack... I guess now it is was just some "scare tactic", not really what you have come to expect, but what would be the changes of 4 bombs all malfunctioning at the same time... while it would be very fortunate and lucky, my cynical old self just refuses such thing could happen in this screwed up world we live in today.

But I'm glad it wasn't more serious... and pray its not the calm before something bigger :eek:

Heard about it on the news. President Bush also had a provocative say in this. A la "We should be on the offensive and attack the terrorists over the shores."

In any case, glad no one got hurt. This time.

The police have confirmed that many unexploded devices remain - it looks like (incredible as it sounds) that it really was coincidence that none went off. Eyewitnesses also report that the guy holding the backup looked rather surprised when it went off!

Heard a brillant quote on the news, something like this, "everyone was yelling stop him, so I just kind of steped aside and let him run past..."
