Does visiting Cuba mean that travel to the USA is restricted? I thought Americans were prohibited from visiting Cuba? (the non USA part)

Can't quite believe that there is still serious tension between them anyway. All seems a little crazy really. Has Castro still got missles or something??

Wellard's right, travel is still restricted, although some people do go despite that.

I should point out that Americans traveling to Cuba is illegal.

It's possible through the Cayman islands though I've never attempted it as it is very illegal.

The only things I can tell you about Cuba are from my experiences on a little 45 mile-wide patch and from the many doccumentaries I've watched.

Duh... He's shot down planes before [img]tongue.gif[/img] American ones that got a WEEE bit off course.

To get in (or over) the plane must verify a flight charter with the Cuban government which is surveyed by Castro, himself.

When I went to the cayman islands we actually flew OVER Cuba which freaked me out because it was a plane out of Miami.

I should point out that when (if ever) Castro kicks the bucket there will probably be a coup which will result in a new government being installed. If not, then Castro's brother will take over and eveyrhting will stay the same. If his brother doesn't take over, then who knows we all might be taking vacations to Cuba [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I bet I can get there before Wal-mart does!

I have two friends that went within the last month (on separate trips) and both said it was an amazing experience and they had a wonderful time.
